Wanting to check out some new smaller waters, does anyone have any info or fishing reports for Corinth or Willisburg? Never been on either. Thanks.

Seriously, I have a friend who puts his yak in there occasionally. He said he can once in a while catch some decent bass (and I'm not making this up) by doing the opposite of what he wants to do. Like beaching the boat and fishing suspended, etc.
The key to fishing Willisburg is to fish painfully slow. I have won a couple tournament by deadsticking a weightless Senko or craw-worm. Good luck.
I fished Corinth yesterday morning on my kayak. Started around 6:30am, ended around 11am. Caught 4 LM, all before sunrise, all on a in-line spinner. Tried topwater, flukes, tubes, shakeyhead worms and the only thing they bit were the in-line spinner. All fish were right around 10-12in in size
Thank you all for the input, I went and fished Willisburg on Saturday and it was very slow, had two over 15" and a few shorts, but really really had to work for them.
Corinth is very clear, and the bottom of the lake is very mossy and there are lots of areas with suspended grass. Top water works well for me there but on in the morning and evening. There are alot of spots with emerged grass that a punching setup will do well during the day. I scanned that lake over multple times with sonar to try and find them deep when the water temp rose and i couldnt find them. Lost of crappie schooling though around the ramp though there are some fish attractors around there.
