Couldn't sleep last night, so I decided to go grocery shopping. 0100 hrs, went to walmart, and for the first time used an electric shopping cart.Since it was parked right next to my car, what the heck. All night super markets are not a new thing, we had several up north, and being a shift worker I used them a lot. Even my second wife would go there after her shift. No lines[no check outs either].In and out in less than an hour.

Years ago I dated a girl who liked to shop late for groceries and essentials at Walmart. It was a heck of a lot easier!!
I also learned to not shop on Saturdays at Walmart.....now I just play golf, go fishing or do something with my girls on Saturdays.

We always went grocery shopping on Friday night after going out to eat and then going to the movies. We would be in the all night grovery store at 10:30 PM and it was practically empty of other people at that time.
I hate shopping on Saturday afternoon as the stores are so full of other people and the lines are so long. It takes forever to shop at my grocery store on Saturday Afternoon.
Fun things to try at Walmart:
1. Pickup a gallon of milk, go to customer service, and ask to put it on lay-away.
2. Walk up to the photo counter and ask for a roll of film that fits your Apple I-phone.
3. Go to the fishing section counter, and ask if fishing licenses come with a guarantee that you will catch fish.
4. Go to the garden center, and ask if they install trees. When they say no, say "Okay then, do you sell the holes that go with the trees?"
5. Go to the eggs, get a dozen eggs. Now go to where they sell the pre-packaged non frozen chicken. Between some of the chicken packages, place one or 2 eggs, then stand back and watch as people shop the chicken display.
6. Go to the pet center and get a dog leash. Now go to the frozen turkey section, lease a turkey, and drag it around the store while you shop
7. Paint a large band-aid on the hood of your car and park it in the handicapped parking spot.
8. Sit in one of the electric shopping carts near the door, and offer anyone else that gets in the same type cart to race "title for title"
9. Pay for $200 in groceries......with pennies.
I use to grocery shop when I got off work ( 2nd shift back then) at the store after midnight, some of the people you would see in there WOW, but maybe they were thinking the same about me.

I know what you mean :-) I've seen folks in Walmart that made me believe Native Indians had to have had personal relationships with buffaloes. Some of the folks I saw just seemed like they would have been more comfortable on hoofs instead of sneakers.
