Haven't been on taylorsville in a while. Wondering if the bass are into their fall pattern there yet. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Was there this past Tue & the Sat before .... Sat water temps = 75-76deg ... Tue 73deg
Should be down from Tues reading, so it should be close (if not already started).
No guarantees, but :
One way to find out is sling some spinnerbaits in the standing timber & see if you get bit. LOL !! (that's how I always fished for them in Oct ... but, that's been a few years)
I was Crappie fishing, and all the Bass anglers I talked to were picking up mostly short fish, if anything. And most of them were throwing cranks & worms (on open banks).
Thanks for the information pappy.
I was there last Tuesday and again yesterday. Fishing was tough but it should be good by the end of this week. Caught a lot of short fish when I went out yesterday and Tuesday I had plenty of shorts with one fish just under 4lbs. The spinnerbait bite is okay right now but I've been finding more fish with a shallow diving crankbait.
