Recent retiree...looking for campgrounds or fish camps with travel trailer/RV sites with hookups for some of the winter months. Maybe some of y'all could advise. Googled a bunch but word of mouth (or internet) from experienced folks might just point me in the just right place. Mostly a crappie hunter now after calculating the cost per pound for the green fish. :cool:
No need to look anywhere else...Buckhead Ridge on Lake Okeechobee. Bass and crappie capitol of the world. Complete with a marina and boat storage for the summer months. My dad has had a place down there for over 30 years and hates coming home in the spring.
Camp mack on the kississimmee chain. Great bass and crappie fishing. Spent a lot of tome their before I moved to Ky.
