Anyone been trout fishing much? Headed down the 25th with my boys and wanted to get on the river a little. Catching any up close to the dam or should I head down towards Burkesville? Would love to striper fish, but don't think I can find any bait when it is this cold.
I've been catching them all year up by the dam. Last Saturday I caught 9, largest was 20". All rainbows.
Thanks man, headed down Friday night I think. Was going to throw some little Chloe's and SR5's. What have you been throwing?
My girl and I are coming down Wed night and staying til Sunday.
Hoping to get a mess of something. Trout are good but we don't
keep those generally. White bass may be up our creek by the house
and plan on doing some walleye sauger fishing too. She usually stays
home and that leaves me and my dog in the boat. If someone wants to
hitch a ride and go fishing for a few hours let me know.
