Depends. No, not the old folks underpants. It really depends upon how well you know the lake and how well you can keep your rig in the channel.
You can run all the way to right to the ramp at browns ford. I am not sure what the water level is now or was then but I do remember seeing bottom one winter right above the ramp. Water may have been super clear and it may have been 4' though. I'll run on plane in 3'. You may not want to though.
Pretty much what smashdn said. If you know the river you can safely run about anywhere. I was there 2 weeks ago and watched a guy plane his boat out going all the way past browns ford, even through the riffles. So safely, as long as you slow down, I would think you would be okay. I'm not paying for a new prop though. ;)

Decided not to try, I didn't like the mud. Going up there tomorrow. A little more water now.
