Anyone had any luck on these lakes lately? I fished it 3 weeks ago and again this past weekend and didn't have much luck at all. Someone said they weren't on the ledges anymore and I sure didn't find them, but I am just a beginner ledge fisherman.

Dave Stewarts latest report is spot on. Topwater early in the back of major creeks and bays around wood cover, and small jigs when the sun gets high, if it gets windy I suggest a spinnerbait....I was there last week and caught fish all day long never leaving 3-4' of water.

I chose poorly............ :) :)
We too were on shallow topwater, but were fishing it too fast , I believe. I think if you're going to do that, you need to really slow down and MAKE them bite.
WE did catch a few flipping docks in shallow water.
Wind was too rough for us to fish ledges, but we did try a few isolated ledges and primary points, with nothing, nada, zilch...... :)
Headed to Kroger now, to buy fish

I did try topwater early in the back of Pisgah, but they were all white bass back there. I then tried deeper banks on the way out of Pisgah and the hump on Pisgah. I then pretty much gave up, went into Ky Dam Village bay and caught a few short fish. I guess it helps if you know where to go.

Pisgah back by the campground in that big bay should have been good. LOTS of laydowns back there.....

I went to the south branch in Pisgah, I assume you mean the north branch? Like I said, I don't know much about Ky Lake or Barkley for that matter, and I just got back into fishing after being out for 15 years. I used to just fish the ohio river mainly but thought I would start fishing these lakes now.
Yea, that NORTH EAST branch could have been good, I think. That area has some good stumps and I suspect they could have been productive.
