BPS has great Fnf Rods..........they are based on the old Wally Marshall crappie rods.
If you cannot get a good FnF rod, BPS and Cabelas also carry good steelhead rods, and those in the 9ft range make good FnF rods.

This one could work, in the 9ft model.

I use the BPS rods, and I also have a Pennacle Steelhead rod from The One Stop down in Celina.
Loomis makes a good FnF rod, but it is spendy.
AllPro also makes a pretty **** good FnF rod.......

BnM also makes FnF rods ....
8' w/counter balance weight system in handle (fixed reel seat)
9' & 10' w/Tenn style handle
All three sizes run around $66
I like the BPS MicroLite Float-N-Fly rods just fine for $49. Get you an 8’6” and a 10’....a couple of 2500 series reels....some braid main line, fluorocarbon 6# for your drop line, 3-way swivel, special bobbers, and jigs....
