Mid lake 49-50, clearing up nicely.
I’m finding my fish a little deeper than last week
when we had much milder weather an less wind
I’m focused on spawning banks where I can find
25 ft of Water close by targeting these fish moving out of
the deeper water to cruise the spawn areas.
With LB an the ability to keep the bait in these target areas
I’m waiting on the fish to find my bait.

We are seeing a big improvement in the quality of these SM.
Last year I couldn’t buy one over 5lbs.
I have put 4-5 in the boat this March with a nice 6.

Thanks for the updates....what is your basic set up for fishing live bait?

Basically I will either drift lb
Split shot swivel 18 inches hook
shad.

Or bottom fish. Same line set up as above, with worm
or egg sinker let’s line slip through.

I’ll use the drift to determine what depth i need to
focus, type of bottom structure all part of puzzle
then depending on experience I may
stop an bottom fish the area

What dale looking like main lake is it muddy
