Are white bass still running at Nolin or anywhere near Nolin?
The white bass run is over for the year everywhere.
I would agree regarding the spring spawning run up the rivers, which ended long ago. However, they can be caught in the jumps on main lake early and late in the day (at Nolin at least).

July is the best month to catch whites in the “jumps” on Lake Nolin. I did awesome last year throwing a whopper plopper.

Can you catch a good amount from the bank? Anything to catch in the actual river part?

Catching them in the jumps from the bank would be tough, unless you were in just the right spot. We usually have to chase them all over the place with the trolling motor when we find them.
There are plenty of fish in the river below the dam, but I have never been down there targeting whites specifically.
