I got this email at work yesterday and wanted to share with everyone. [U]The special rates apply to current local, state, & federal employees and retirees.[/U] I know the cabins I've stayed in have a fridge, stove, microwave, a charcoal grill, and most have electric outside to charge the boat. I know the ones at Barren are really close to the ramp, too. Just thought I'd share...don't know how many other state/govt workers are on here.

BUT why not everyone...........We got on a fisherman's rate at Kentucky DAM Village a few years ago. we fully expected the full monty 150 night, but were pleasantly surprised with the 70/night rate for fisherman off season.
It was awesome and I booked 3-4 more weekends based on it.
Nothing for the tax paying chumps? Gotta love this goobernor

I checked rates out of curiosity for this weekend at Barren & Cumberland, and for 2 bedroom cabins it's $150-$200+/night...[U]IF[/U] there's no catch, that $90-95/night is a steal, especially if you split it.
