fished elkhorn creek last night

We went out of Great Crossings and were hoping to get on a jig bite, but it just wasn't happening. We ended up with a good night once we started throwing stick baits and a tiny brush hog. The key to catching fish was to throw near the bank and pull it out about 3 ft real fast. I caught a couple nice bass that I literally saw coming from 10 feet away to get the bait.

Water was 75 degrees and we caught a few bass that were full of eggs, but not yet on the nest.

Get out and fish!

The leak was after we went, but we launched above the dam at Great Crossings.
