I don't know about anyone else but I'm loving how thick the grass has come back in Cedar this year. It's thicker than I have seen in the last 4 years or so. I hope the KDFWR doesn't do another winter draw down to kill it again.

Nice. I haven't been there in a very long time, might have to hit it again this summer. I agree, hope they don't draw it down again and kill the grass....
The draw down was never about killing the grass as their the ones who put in there to start with. It was about getting all the bait fish out in open water so the predatory fish (big fish) could thin the numbers of stunted fish(bluegill and crappie) and make it a better pan fish lake. and it has helped, now as far as the grass goes it is a love/hate with me but if I can find a certain lure that they quit making back in the 70s I am sure I will like it better!
What would that lure be?

I wanna know, too, Wormin !! For all I know, I may have one in one of my Bass tackleboxes ... ??? LOL !!
Surely not a Moss Boss.
Surely not a Moss Boss.
Nope it is not a top water bait. But it can be fished on the surface also.
Questions: So when was the last time a draw down occurred? How far down was the lake lowered? How long did it stay lowered? Anyone know if a draw down is scheduled this year?
Thanks in Advance!!!
