I have some old wool gloves that are full gloves missing only 3/4s of the thumb and first finger.
Plenty warm wet or dry.
Picked them up in Alaska when I lived in the Aleutian Islands in the 80s
I sometimes use latex gloves.
Try divers gloves possible should have good feel and water proof
If it's dangerous cold, your hands have to stay dry. Rag wool stays warm when its wet and you just cut away the tips for the digits you need. The fold over mittens and thumbs with handwarmer pockets if you're fancy.
My $0.02
Alaska glacier gloves are my go to for float and fly season.
