Agreed. I do think we do have to hold people accountable for their own lack of discipline and responsibility. So many times when things happen we all look for some systemic solution when in many cases it's simply a personal failing that requires a personal accountability.

:-) Just for grins: Given the liberal point of view:
- There never should have been a parade that posed itself as a target for aggression
- There needs to be speed bumps 3 feet tall on all streets that will be used for parades
- SUV's must now be made with 3 foot foam cushioned bumbers.
- All vehciles must be equipped with a driver interface system that conducts a thorough electronic psycho analysis of the driver before the ignition will start.
- Drivers with criminal records and pending court charges must insert their credit card into the dash and add $1000 to their bond before they can drive the car or start the motor.
- Parade routes must be elevated road ways and baracaded off on both ends.
- Before starting the car, the drivers with pending charges must enter his attorney's name in the dash keyboard, and his criminal case number. The car will start only after that submission has been reviewed by the District Attorney, who then can decide if he will remotely enable the ignition. If the DA elects to do so, he becomes personally responsible for the drivers safe conduct.
But other than that....so far.......sooooo goood!
