dam area 55 to 57F vis 10 to 12 Ft:eek: . no shad except very backs of creek/coves. mile stretch area 57 to 59F 2.5 to 3.5 ft green stain. Few Floaters. Occasional bait balls. mainly hybrid fishing. no luck until we switched to bass fishing then caught 7lb hybrid. go figure. few bass but slow.
best part was graphed a school of fish in back of cove near school of shad. If we were at Cumberland would have said for sure they were Stripers. Buddy put on a spoon and started jigging around them assuming they were hybrids. 5 mins later BAM big fish. Turns out it was a drum. LOL
Thanks! Was planning to troll for hybrids tomorrow so your report is helpful. The white bass run has been hit or miss.
Pandora to dam 63 to 64F no floaters. vis 4 to 8ft clearer near dam. bait balls spread out here and there. Fish were pretty aggressive on main lake and mouths of coves.
The marinas consider bass boats/trucks using their ramps and parking lots a nuisance.

I understand that at some of the bigger marinas on the bigger lakes on the weekends especially. But Chimney Rock parking lot is closer to empty than full during week.
If thats the real reason then charge more on weekend and summer and less on weekdays and Oct thru Apr
