Dale Hollow small mouth
After weeks of various conditions including turn over, large tournaments , winds, rain. Using live bait has been a struggle for quality fish for me.
In all honesty several of the winter regulars not fishing has left me working it out on my own, when you don’t have that info it’s major.
With that said I have gone days with 17-18 inch fish, not what I’m looking for.
My typical live bait set up I’m fanning 3-4 rods.
From under 20 ft.- falling into a channel no deeper than 32 ft. Where ever the bite occurs
You get the idea, using shad.
Water temp was 53 mid lake with stain, lake has risen 1.5 ft last several days
I boated 6 fish nothing heavy. If u can share how to add pics I will

dude, this is the worst year in about 15 that I've been down here renting a cabin for 7-8 weeks.
I have gone days on end without a fish ............As it is right now there is no chance of me not blanking at least 20% of the days . THAT is how much I've blanked so far. and that is unreal.
I went 6 days straight without a fish. Now granted 2-3 of those I did not fish, but my boat fished......
Crazy.
Later,
