My in-dash unit is going out. It is a X-65 Lowrance unit. The problem is it fits in between the tach and speedometer with no room to spare at all. I would like to stay with a lowrance but the newer units will not fit they are too big. I want to maintain a unit in dash instead of on the boat glass. The units that may fit are made by Hummingbird and Garmin. Any suggestion or advice would be appreciated.

MY x65 just bit the dust. I called lowrance and asked them about repairing it and they told me they didn't repair them anymore. So they asked me for the serial number off the unit to verify that it existed and sent me a coupon worth from $75 to $400 depending on the unit you bought.
Might be worth checking out.
I also have a lowerance x-15 (I think) located in the front of my stratos in the bow dash. I want to replace it also but all the units I have looked at are too large. I measured the old one at 5.5 X 5.5. Any help or Info is also appreciated.
