Recently moved to the greater Nashville area and want to fish the river for stripers; I've done it before but always on the Kentucky stretch of the river. What are the best areas to put in at / fish at on the Tennesseee section of the river. Thanks.

The stripers move up toward Cordell Hull tailrace spring and fall. They are tougher to find this time of year, when they move further downriver. Some head up into the Caney Fork in search of colder water. It is hard to get up into the Caney unless the generation schedule is right though.

Check out Striper Soup on seeinstripes.com, there's info on specific lakes / rivers. A few of the guys on there are in the Nashville area.
Good luck
