Does anyone know were there is lodging at Lake Patoka. The tenting thing was fun for years but the ground is just getting way to hard anymore. Is there any cabins, hotels on or around the lake close, Any informatiion would be great, Thanks. Charlie

When I stay over I stay at Patoka Lake Village. There are about a dozen cabins, quiet, nice setting. Great cabins as far as I'm concerned. Rates run $89 - $98 a night as I recall. If you are coming across the lake on SR145 going toward French Lick the turn is on the right side not far after you cross the main river channel bridge, but before you get to the Painter Creek Ramp. There is a sign marked Osborne Ramp. Stay on that small paved road - just before you go over the hill and down to Osborne Ramp there is a sign for PLV and the office on the left.
The phone number is 1-888-324-5350. Call plenty early if you're thinking about this spring. Apt to be busy down there that time of year. (They are open year around)
I know there are others - some may be better. This is just the one I use and know. Good Luck.
