West Boggs Creek
Wanting to start fishing this lake near Loogootee but need info. I know it's about 600 acres or so, and fairly shallow but I don't know anything else about it. Where are some good places to look for largemouth (probably need details because I'm not familiar with much of the lake at all)? Is there anything to look out for in the lake? I know there is a 35 mph speed limit. Most productive way to go about fishing this lake for bass? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

RE: West Boggs Creek
Great place to fish. Your gonna find that everyone is pretty tight lipped as far as where and what to fish on this lake. There are several tournament anglers that fish this lake and their not going to come off of their secrets.
The lake is small enough that you can get a good understanding of it in one trip down. You can catch fish on anything from a jig to a crankbait.
No real major hidden obstacles to watch out for except for one shallow flat. If you come out of the marina and go left you want to stay closer to the left side. There is a flat near the right side that doesn't get very deep.

I want to really start fishing Boggs a lot this year. I've only fished up there once. Is the area where you go through the little tunnels any good?

It can be at the right time of year. The last report I heard was that through the tunnels is still very muddy.
