smallmouth in brookville??
Hey guys....new here on the board, but not new to fishin..just been out of it for awhile..picked up a boat late last year, hit brookvile for the first time ever!..nice lake. Caught 1 largemouth bass near striper cove. Anyway, to my question...how is the smallmouth fishin at brookville? Not lookin for tips or tricks....just tell me if I would be wasting my time fishing there. Looking at the map, it seems to be plenty deep enough to hold a good quantity of smallies. But, I never really hear anyone talkin about fishin for smallmouth there. Thanks in advance for your input!
RE: smallmouth in brookville??
B-ville has some great SM fishing, but you have to get off the shore to really find the good action. You'll catch a few pounding the bank and visible wood but to really tap into the lakes potential you have to get a good topo map, spend lots of TOW and plan on fishing deep offshore structure. Once you put it all together you will be pleasantly surprised (biggguns too!!).
