I am planning a trip to Hueston Woods soon and was wondering if anyone had any pointers I’ve only fished there once and I only got one bite all day that’s the bad news the good news is that bite was a 5lbs largemouth. Any help of where to start and info would be greatly appreciated.
i've only fished there couple times, but my best success comes from the upper end of the lake. If your boat can float shallow enough go up in the creek and throw a spinnerbait. I've also caught several bass on the post right next to the boat ramp. Good luck
Thanks for your input I went there on Friday caught three fish one 1.9 one 2.9 and one 2.1 not a bad day, caught two by the lodge cove and one on the same bank on down towards the dam by the nice looking rocks. Caught two on a spinnerbait and one on a worm. If I ask for help I always try give a report back so we all can catch more fish. Thanks again.
