whats biting this time of year in saltwater?
Hi everyone...On my way down to Georgia in a few weeks. On my way home from the military and want to get in on the coastal fishing while i'm down. Gonna be in Savannah for a week and am looking for whatever is biting and what they are biting.
Spot Tailed bass, Blue Fish, Flounder, Sea trout whatever. Drop a reply and let me know whats going on. And if anyone wants to know...Maryland fishing isn't half bad..if you like rock fish and 22 inch croaker (no kiddin).
thanks and see ya...

Check out the fishing reports on http://www.havefunfishing.com/fishingreports/ . The reports are supposed to be updated every friday, but it looks like they are having some issues here and there. It is a good source of information though, and the saltwater reports go into quite a bit of depth. Good luck and let us know what you catch!

Don't know if it is too late for you. I was in Jax and Sebastian Fla in early April. Sheephead bite was on for the spawn in Jax. My brother says they are still biting good there, so Ga coast should be good, too. We got into tons of schooling spanish in Sebastian in the 3# range. The water should be warm enough for the Spanish to be schooling in Ga. We also caught a couple of 4# specs (spotted seatrout for you Georgia folks). Great time of year to be at the coast!!
