Hey guys!
Iwas at the State Awards Banquet Saturday night and saw the banquet package for this year. It is fantastic! The best I've seen in years, by far. The statues are honest to pete bronze, heavy as lead, and real quality. The NWTF now does it's framing all in house now, and it's much improved. This year's state collector's knife is also the best we've had in quite a while.
The gun of the year is a Remington Model 1100 in 28ga.

Sure wish they were hosting the State calling competition again this year. I think it is a shame the Great State of KY will not have a State Champion. I mean Colorado has managed to have a State championship for at least the last 10 years. I understand why Galyans couldnt have it. Maybe JIm Strader should have picked up the ball and ran with it at his show????? Its a shame, KY has a lot of "first: for the NWTF, but we will not have a State Cahmpion caller??? Seems wrong to me!! The money Gaylans had in it was nice, but Id be glad just to name a State champion, Money or no Money!!!
