I believe Beaver is the first creek on your right (coming from the ramp @the dam) and is where a lot of people striper fish. Beyond that I don't really know the names of the creeks, I just go. The names are on my maps, I just don't fish it enough to remember the others. It will take me a minute but I can get the directions for the way we go down. CJ.
is deer creek and oil creek and tar creek in that section of river?

Talking about wolf creek boat ramp on the ohio river by brandenburg. thanks for your help
OK. Don't have a clue about that one, but have you tried going to mapquest.com and getting some driving directions? It is really quick and easy.
LAST EDITED ON Jul-15-06 AT 08:18PM (EST)[p]Brod take dixie to Muldraugh then go right hwy 1638 towards brandenburg until you get T in road take right then when you see signs for Ohio river bridge turn left follow that to the four way at Sav-Alot and turn left drive until you see a major road on your right turn right there ( there is a sign directing you to the ramps) and follow this road about ten miles until you see the signs it will be in a curve on the right. Or you can go straight instead of turning and meet me at 4 in the morning at the BP if you turn left at the Save alot just drive till you see the BP. My number is on my fishing report on here for that lock if you want it.
Good luck Chris Gable
I'll go into a little more detail then Chris did. Heres how I went from Dixie: Right on 1638 come to T which dead ends and turn right. Go to the next major road and turn left on hwy 448(Brandenburg bypass)then go to HWY 79 and turn left. Go to hwy 144 and turn right and then right on hwy 228. Hwy 228 goes for about 8-10 miles. I did not see a sign marking Wolf Creek, but when you come to a sharp curve and you see black tires marks all over the road---go straight and you are at the ramp. If you cross a bridge---that is Wolf Creek and you went too far.
