What was the final decision on the lake record project? Doing or not doing? I must have missed the post on this one. If so any potentials yet?
I also see several talk about replica mounts on this board. I have three smallmouth mounted and have no desire to keep another to put on the wall but would be interested in the replicas. What measurements do they need and where would I find someone to do this? Doesn't seem to be anyone close in my neck of the woods.
American Fish Taxidermy did the mount I presented to Danny Goble at the $50,000 Big Bass Tourney. Danny LOVED that replica.

YES to the lake Question.. for Cedar Creek Lake for now. IF you want to submit for other lakes do so, but I am NOT going to take fish I know are not the record.. For example I know there have been 10 pounders from Kentucky Lake so I will not entertain any fish less than that..
I may just set up minimums for each lake..

I agree about setting minimums for each lake, because with all do respect, I do not see a 10 lb bass coming out of Ky Lake for another 4 years at least. Not arguing by no means, I guess I'll take the 7.47 pic(caught by a Siress in March '06) and throw it away. lol, but it is the biggest reported so far this year besides the 8 1/2 lb.caught from a 1/16th oz crappie jig on 4 lb. test.!!!

Back in '96 or '97, I saw a 10 lber come out of Ky Lake in a March tournament.
I caught a 7 this year.
I have seen another 7.5 and one over 8 in the last two years.
I think there will be another 10 pretty darn soon.
Too bad about that minimum Jim. I was hoping maybe I'd have the lead for about 15 minutes...LOL
