Fish Finder Problem?
Hey. I am having trouble with my fish finder on the consloe. I have a garmin 240 up front and a humminbird pro angler on the consloe. The humminbird keeps saying "transducer not connected." I have checked and all the wires and they are properly connected around the transducer. I dont know whether to take the problem to a shop and get it looked at or is there something else that i can do to figure out the problem. I read somewhere else that if you have two fishfinders on, the frequencys can create interference and mess things up but i dont know. Any help would be greatly appricated!!! Thanks!!!

RE: Fish Finder Problem?
What I have seen in these problems is the transducers are too close but I don,t know how close you have them. Call the dealer on your 1 8oo #. of your Best and most expensive finder . Seems sometimes they cone angle is interfering with each other., Just a guess.

Hey why don't you just try to turn them on one at a time Try the one that is giving you the problem first that might eliminate that theory???????????

RE: Fish Finder Problem?
I had the same problem a couple of years ago. It was caused by a small knick in my transducer cable. A new transducer should take care of your problem. The wire cannot be repaired to the best of my knowledge.
