There will not be a Midwest Sportsman division on Herrington lake this year.
Jim Gullett is starting a new Bass Club that will be affiliated with Midwest Sportsman and you can qualify for the classic thru his club. The tournaments will be held on Herrington Lake.
He can be reached at 859-252-4229 for more details.
Where can I get more info on these tournaments? Have they posted a schedule?
You can get the schedules for all of the Kentucky divisions by going to the "tournament board" on this website, or call me @ 859-533-5530 and I will mail a schedule to you.

According to the Mid Western site and shedule on here there arent any on herrington.
Have you resolved the situation with the ramps at the Classic? Is it still on Ky/ Barkley? Same dates?
Thanks
Steve I checked the tournament board and it doesn't match up
on the April 23 tourney on the flyer I picked up at R&W Marine
in Etown. This is the gold City schedule.
The board reads that the April tournament is at Rough river Lake.
The Flyer says the tourney is at Barren River Lake.
Could you clear this up?
Thanks Steve.

according to link, the new format Classic is Oct. 4-5-6 at Ky/Barkley. Field cut to 100 for the final day; all 100 teams will draw a check.
Only drawback I've heard is there'll be another 400 boat tourney down there the same days. Can't remember if I saw that on this board or the Tenn board.
This would be the American Bass Anglers Grand National tournament. And yes both are going on at the same time. The ABA will have approx. 350-450 boats prefishing and 250-+ boats for the 3 days of competition.
