Hey Jigman,
We saw you guys at the ramp. We were in the red procraft. We ended up with 8 keepers (1 largemouth 3.5 pounds, 3 smallie keepers biggest 4-10, and 4 spots from 1.5-2.25 pounds.) All on the FNF tried regular jig and chunk and also silver buddies with no luck. The fish were bitin today, I was also there yesterday and only had one keeper smallie and one nice largemouth on the FNF. What a difference a day makes. See yall on the water.

LAST EDITED ON Feb-16-06 AT 10:58PM (EST)[p]Hey Tim, Ya'll had a little better day than we did, but it was a blast and a great day to be out. My friends 2 smallies were 4-4 and 4-6. Mine was the runt of the day I guess (3-12). Sounds like your ky's were like the few that I found (1-10, 2-2) with some 12-13" ones to boot. Now talk about fun, hook a wired keeper smalley in a wind blown pocket (25 mph), by yourself, in a 17' nitro. Now, that's a ball. I did catch 1 14" LM on a jig, but no bites an anything else (crankbait, jerkgait, silverbuddy).
It was good meeting ya today. Good luck next time.
See Ya on the water.
Lee
P.S.
One of the guys that was with me at the ramp had another friend that went out yesterday and 20 fish total. Don't know any other info than that, but even small fish are fun on the fly when you can catch numbers.
