Ask 10 fishermen and get 10 answers. Each brand makes several different lines also. Berkley XL is the best selling line of all time so that says something. Its not the best in any single area but is a good all around line and one of the easiest to use. I think there are several good lines out there. Different tools for different types of fishing. You'll never get any agreement on this issue. It's like the Ford, Chevy, and Dodge thing. (Toyota?)
p-line is the strongest line out there. Try it and you will see
been trying a lot of different lines and always go back to stren,i havent tryed the p-line yet
I fish alot of small diameter lines because of clear water, hands down P-line is the strongest line you can buy. They make the best florocarbon too. I've pulled up logs with 10lb P-line before, try it and you will be sold.
I may have to try that P Line. I use Trilene XL and Big Game 95% of the time. I've used 4 lb - 25 lb and love them all. When I go above 17 lb I always use Reel Magic on my line as I spool up. It makes a huge difference and keeps the line from developing memory on the spool.
P-line used it for three years now no complaints, Great knot strenght.found p-line in moss green at bass pro.will give it a try this year.
My fav has been Excel, but with all the talk about P-line I finally bought some from Ranger Bob down at Barren lake. Waiting for my Excel to wear out or break so I can try the P-line.
I've used P-Line with great success over the years. I've recently gotten hooked on Ironsilk. That stuff has some amazing abrasion resistance and pretty much no memory at all! I love it! It is so smooth and easy to work with! Try it out and see what you think!
i like p-line and stren both and use both.

Yes I Fish...Catch, ???.
For the money, Big Game is impossible to beat as long as your not fishing super clear water. Very tough and dependable. I can also respool much more often due to the cost.
