Air temp rising, water temp rising,,,,,
Boys and Girls, not long until it bust wide open. Planning on hitting a small lake near the house next week just to see if I can cast a jerkbait, crankbait, trap.... all on a rod under 10' long. Won't be the same not watching the bobber go hippity hop waiting and wishing for it to get pulled into the depths of Dale Hollow. But I would guess that first 5lb Bucketmouth next week will help the healing process. Surely those 6-7 pound pre-spawn Smallies or Bucketmouths at Ky Lake in a couple of weeks will close the healing process. Bring on the sunshine (Seems just a few months back I posted something about BRING ON THE ALBERTA CLIPPERS) How things change.

Good to see that I am not the only one with the disease. Sure in the heck hope they NEVER find a cure for this one. From what I know, every 5 pounder landed this year makes it all that much worse next year. Can only imagine what that 10 pound Bucketmouth or 8 pound Smallie will do for the problem.

I'm with you guys. I'm about to go nuts wanting to fish right now. We've got a big trip in 2 weeks with about 5 of us heading to AL to fish Guntersville. I just hope I don't drive myself crazy between now and then.
