the max length on the boat is 14 ft. i believe, and i am almost positive that the max horsepower is like 10 horsepower. Pondhoppers is run by a guy named Steve Riley, and they have 3 divisions I think. Steve is usually on here so he should answer your post. Even though the boats are small, there are some pretty good fishermen in Pondhoppers, usually good turnouts.
The Pondhoppers are awesome....they run a good tourney. If my aluminum boat wasn't a couple feet too long, I'd be fishing with them in a heartbeat.

Hey Kyle and everyone else....
Kyle, I know you and I discussed this, but I have confirmed since we fished. The Peabody WMA over in Ohio County, just outside Rockport, in the area known as Echols has been sold!! I don't know how much acerage was sold there, but they are already back there clearing and leveling. Also confirmed the sale of 3,100 acres in Muhlenberg County.
It seems everyone in this area has heard the same thing... it will be a hunting and fishing preserve. Lots of good fishing lakes are no longer public, but are now private.
Everything I hear is that the folks come from Alabama (Ohio county) and Florida, here in Muhlenberg county.
We've been watching for the surveying to begin, since the 3,100 acres here in Muhlenberg County boarder our land. I am guessing it will be something like the Bellar thing, with fences, but not sure.
Anyway, I hope this serves as a public service announcement to those used to fishing out here.
Danny
