In priority order: I start at the top and work to what hits.
a. Cordell Redfin, Silver with a Blue back, or Silver with a Black back
b. Zora Spook, Silver with Black, or Pearl.
c. Long A Bomber, Silver and Black or Blue.
d. Manns 20 plus. Silver and Black, or Blue
I start on top with the "reds", no hits, go to the Spook, next down the water column is the Bomber, then the Manns. If still no go, start from the top again, at a different spot.
what lake are you using this technique at... and r u talking in open water, or hittings points and bank structure?
According to In-Fisherman, you should use some of the really large Storm swim baits - 9".
Bear in mind that the main forage the stripers are chasing at that time of year at Cumberland are the Alewifes. Most Alewifes do not get that large (7 inches or so), so a smaller bait can often be more productive.

Thanks for all the input. I will be at Cumberland, in the lake. Never fished in the Cumberland river before.
