LAST EDITED ON Mar-12-06 AT 10:30PM (EST)[p]Some days they are starting to hit the hard jerkbait but a so far a jig and the float-n-fly are doing better. The water is warming fast the last few days so I would expect some shallow movement soon. Things can change fast with this 3-4 day warming period. I heard Green is very muddy so try Cumberland. The lower end has good water color but I'm not sure about the mid and upper lake. I was getting water temps from 47 to 52 degrees Saturday.
Sat evening I had water at 51.9. About mid-creek I got 56. Found one protected, sundrenched creek arm that had surface at 59(shallow about 200 yards long). Zero fish.
Wind started to Howl here,I hope yo get out today
Thanks again, why is it so hard for a fellow angler to get a little info on lake conditions?
Fishing is to have fun and to help someone have fun does not seem so bad, does it?
