It wasn't very good. 2 bass that weighed 9 and some change won. He also had big bass. Took 2.89 to make it in the top 20. This was also about 160 guys fishing. No more then 2 bass were weighed as far as I know. Fishing was the slowest I have ever seen it.
I had a Fishers of Men tournament same day, on Cave Run.
11 lbs won it. Big fish 5.25 lbs. 37 teams, only 10 teams weighed in fish. 6 of the 10 had only one fish. Tough fishing.
Thanks for the report. Sounds like it was tough on Yatesville also.

My hats off to every single person that was able to produce a fish to weigh in. Ive never fished so hard in my life to produce 1 fish in 3.5 days.
Yatesville KBF tourney moto will always be the tourney that should have been a week later!

I agree 110% Every year it seems Yatesville should be a week earlier or later. Along with that motto---I have a new name for that lake-----Yucksville!
I was a lucky one to catch a fish and qaulify. I fished friday & saturday without a bite.First time on the lake in my life. Freezing rain, snow, wind, the worst weekend weather wise of fishing you could ask for. My hats off to everybody that stuck it out. True fisherman! I drew a awesome boater that was as good of partner as you could ask for.IMHO there should be no tx on a body of water that is at winter pool or doesnt have all three types of bass in numbers.Maybe this year the KBF will realize that and quit trying to fish in march or head south to a large lake with spots and smallies.Tight lines
