Kentucky Lake report
I fished a club tournament on Ky out of Fenton yesterday (Sunday 4/9). Not a banner day, wound up with 2 keeper LM and a Ky. Caught keepers on a Bandit 200 crankbait on pea gravel points. Partner got a keeper and some short fish on a C rigged brush hog. Water temps were in the mid 50's and the water color was stained to fairly clear. Other club members had bass on cranks, C rigs, jigs, jerkbaits, spinnerbaits, and buzzbaits.

RE: Kentucky Lake report
Hey Jim,
I fished out of Fenton SAt. and Sun. Wish I had known you were there. You could have checked out the deck ext. in person. I know I still need to send you some pics, just been busy. By the way, a guy in our club weighed a 7.5 pounder Sunday. Most of the guys went to Barkley. Took 30+ to win (2 day total) We weighed 15 and change. Fished Jonathan creek. Got blown off most of our spots which hurt. Just couldn't get on em as well as we should have. Cought all of ours on c-rigs, rattle traps, texas rigs anywhere from 1 ft. to 8 ft. deep. wish it were closer, I love it down there. Anyone know of anyone looking for a great Chef in the area, If so I'd consider a move.

RE: Kentucky Lake report
Dave, y'all's club must be a team format. Ours is individual, so your 'partner' in the boat is actually competing against you. I heard Barkley was fishing a lot better than Ky, but wasn't willing to run all the way over there and back for a one day club tournament. 8 something won, I had 6 and change, and my partner had a 15" keeper.
Don't worry about the pics, it's not a big deal to me. If you have drawings/bill of materials, I'll have to get that from you one of these days. I thought I saw you sniffing around for a different boat, have you decided to keep yours?

RE: Kentucky Lake report
Hey Jim,
I'll be keeping my boat for a while, I was just dreaming a little. I hope by next year I'll have a new one but it sure is hard to trade mine (Paid off) for the payments on a new one. LOL
Anyway, good to hear from ya,
take care
