Looking for the "old" type of Peabody maps. The new ones that KFW are distributing, only have the roads. The old ones have the roads and lakes printed on them. If anyone has an extra, I sure could use one. My old type has been used so much, I can now barely read it. Any help is appreciated.
A lot of the old ones, or all of them, were wrong. They had areas shown that are not part of the WMA... they had one of our private lakes shown.
It also could be that much of the WMAs have now been sold.
The 6,000 acres around us that I had reported as being sold is now in the process of being surveyed off. So apparently the sale did go through.

Danny, I noticed that access to Ken Lake (Ken Hopewell, Ohio Co.)is now gated off, and has private property on the gates. Is this part of the 6,000 that you are talking about? Ken lake is an awesome spot for crappie.

No, the 6,000 acres is over here on this side of the river, however all that over there around Kenlake was also sold. I was told a group of investors from FL bought one and a group from ATL bought the other. Both, from what I hear, are putting in hunting and fishing lodges.
If they get the price up high enough, I may be able to talk my pop (father-in-law) into selling. LOL
