Ohio River fishing
I am getting the fishing bug bad and unfortunately am not going to be able to get the boat out for quite awhile. But I was wondering if anyone knew of some bank fishing possibilities on the Ohio river. I work dowtown and was thinking if I could get an hour or two I might try it out, but I've never fished in the river before. If anyone has any suggestions I am open to any ideas. I don't care what I catch as long as I catch something.

RE: Ohio River fishing
I haven't had a lot of luck on the Ohio myself, but I hear that over just below the Falls of the Ohio you can get lotsa bites, still gotta try it out for myself. I too work downtown... would be nice to leave work and go straight to the water. I've played around on the docks near the new Tumbleweed w/o much luck. I mostly go out to Fisherman's Park past J-town.

RE: Ohio River fishing
Any place in particular at waterfront park. I don't need an exact spot just an idea. At the main great lawn area or at some of the other areas further down the river? Thanks for the help.
