I was wondering I've read about carolina rigging in the backs of the bays, are you all fishing the creek channels comming out of these areas or just fishing the the yellow flowers and buck brush up tight. Or the points or all the above.

the Carolina rig is my favorite way to fish. I fish a one once all the way in to a few inches of water.
Last week I was catching fish just out of the 6 inch of water line, where I had a drop into 8-12 feet of water.
I'll throw the CR just about anywhere, except I hate dragging it through the flowers or through grass.
I hope this helps some.
Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to tell you where the fish I caught were this week. LOL

For shallow water, like in the flowers, go with a split shot rig! You'll be amazed at the results! The slow fall drives them nuts!
