RE: Ky lake room in June ?
Barry,
When I stay down there I normally stay at the Regency Inn at Eddyville. You can find their contact information at several sites, such as Kentuckylake.com, or explorekentuckylake.com... just check into the accomodatins link.
It used to be just under $50 a night, and it is near some pretty good resturants. There is a Willow Leaf Pond (I think that's the name) that has good fish, as well as many other dishes, plus a pretty good steak house. You can travel just a few miles to a "roadhouse" that also serves alcohol. There are also fast food resturants around.
I would tell you to tell them I sent you, but I really doubt they remember me... LOL
The rooms are clean and plenty for a fisherman. I'd even be willing to take my wife there, but would probably opt for something nicer for her.
Hope this helps.
Danny
RE: Ky lake room in June ?
Barry, call or e-mail me I've got a great place. Danny called the Regency this year they told me $58 a night, of course that was during that annual quilting get along.
RE: Ky lake room in June ?
The Bel-Air near Ky Dam is clean and reasonable if they still have any openings you probably won't do better.
RE: Ky lake room in June ?
I would check the Inn by the Lake. I stay there anytime I'm down at the lake and if I'm not mistaken your tournament is taking out of KY Dam Marina which is just a couple of miles from there.
They usually have a tournament rate of about $38 per night.

Thanks, I'll look in to it.
