Mcneely Lake

Yeah, I know. I never thought I would be asking about this little south end (Louisville) lake. But my outboard is in need of an overhaul and I'm not able to hit the others until I get it fixed. I think it is small and for trolling motors only, but I don't know about the bass. I drive through the area from time to time and see boats and alot of bank fishing. Has anyone fished it this year?

We are in the same situation. My outboard is in the same shape and even though I want to hit the others, I can't stand the headache. So I've been hitting McNeely and even though it is small, I have been presently surprised. I've gotten plenty of pound, pound and a halfers, with the occassional 21/2 to 3 mixed in. It's not by any means a Nolin or other, but it does satisfy my addiction. Good luck and fish on!
