"NO SECRET BAITS JUST PERSISTANCE"
I have heard this topic discussed since I started fishing Taylorsville 5 years ago. Taylorsville is one of the most inconsistant hard to pattern lakes I personally have ever fished. One thing consistant about Taylorsville is that it is always serving up healthy portions of humble pie( excluding no one ). Ive got a bald spot on my head from scatching so often when it comes to T-ville. As far as the whole cheating thing goes, I guess you could never be 100% positive that everyone plays by the rules,( as with any lake) but if you spend alot of time fishing the tournaments up there you will see alot of the same names come up tournament after tournament year after year, either there are some great fishermen or some pretty bold cheaters, I believe in the former. As far as the TNT tournament goes it is as well ran as any other regional or national tournament that I have fished. Ive said for a long time that if you can go up and fish the tournaments at Taylorsville and bring home 6 or 7 checks a year youre doing good. Ive heard it said that in the last 10% of your efforts lye 90% of your rewards. Persistance pays , keep on fishin. J.Swift

They have the lie detector tests so really what else could you ask for. I like the toughness of the lake. I like to think its making me better. I know everyone likes to catch a lot of fish, but I get more satisfaction out of trying to figure out whats going on in the lake. Once I figure some things out the fish will come.

I love the lake. If you can learn to consistently catch fish there, you can go to any other lake and smoke your buddies. The TNT is a great series with some great fisherman that we can all learn something from.
