I will be fishing the hollow this weekend. I havnt been down in about a month. Where are the fish staging? Are they on the points, what type of banks, or are they in the grass? I dont want your personal spots I just would like to know what type of pattern to start with. I only have 2 nights to fish and dont want to waste one night and $50 in gas trying to get on a pattern. Thanks for the help. I will post when I get back.
Fished Dale over the holiday weekend. At night of course! Fishing was excellent! Fish main lake points with grass beds and that have deep water nearby. Use a jerk bait or grub at dusk and at night switch to a berkley power craw. We caught 12 that were in the slot, and had 4 that went over 21". We also boated 2 nice walleye too. GOOD LUCK!!!!
I DONT KNOW OF ANY POINTS THAT HAVE DEEP GRASS, i KNOW OF LOTS OF FLATS BUT NO POINTS.WHERE YOU FISHING ON THE KY END OR THE TN SIDE. THANKS FOR ANY HELP.
The TN side was more productive this trip.
