I was fishing some baits bought at at a tackle shop down in Aurora on Ky lake and I can't think of the name. Anybody know the name of the company? They're made in Danville and are knock offs of brush hogs. great baits for the price

LAST EDITED ON Jun-15-06 AT 09:17AM (EST)[p]I think you may be talking about the Pro Pig - they are a lot like the Brush Hog except I think they have garlic injected in them. I have some that I bought at Kurtsingers (spelling) - they are an Archery/Fishing store there in Danville. When I go home tonight I will look on the package and see who actually makes them - I don't know if Kurtsingers makes them or just has them on the shelf.
I like them better than the brush hog - I just wish they made a version of the Baby Brush Hog
They do make the smaller size thats the one I caught most of my fish on in April
I didn't know that! I live in Bowling Green, but my parents live in liberty and I am going to go visit dad on Saturday for father's day - so I will have to make the short drive to Danville and pick some up then! Thanks for the info!
The lures you are talking about are called BLAZE lures. These lures were coming out of Danville, the guy that owned the company sold it to a guy in Stanford. They sell these locally at Sunrise Outfitters (formally Curtsingers) and Outdoorsman phone 606-346-4835. These baits are HOT on Herrington. The tubes, brush pigs, and beaver style baits are all good baits. I use the beaver style (BLAZE HOSS) for jig trailers also. Just call the above number for prices and colors, I'm sure the guy will ship you some if you don't want to drive over. Hope this helps.
