UMF today
Hey, how bout that Ike today, looks like he is working on that yelling problem of his, lol, he had to try very hard but pulled it off. I'm proud of the way he handled it. But I'm not sure why so few fish caught. Anyone care to comment on that?

RE: UMF today
Glad he won. I remember earlier this year, you might go into a pocket and catch a couple of big fish and go to the next three or four pockets and not even catch a short fish. I guess that's the way it is when the water is rising and the fish haven't moved in yet?

LAST EDITED ON Jul-03-06 AT 08:18PM (EST)[p]Yeah, from the way it looked, the bass have not filled the flowers yet but were on the first staging points back from them, I didn't see a whole lot of fishing on the staging points except when around riprap, then the keepers were caught.
I do like Tomm Mann Jr for many reasons, but I am glad Mike won this and especially the way he handled it.

RE: UMF today
The fish had not come up yet. And if I remember right the water was really rough that couple of days.

RE: UMF today
It just goes to prove that even the people some of us may look up to, have bad days like we do, and we may have the answers they didn't. Sometimes not realizing this could effect our success. If you ever shame yourself for not catching a good bag of bass when you should have, remember ahead of time that EVERYONE has those days and you will get through the day without kicking yourself in the buttocks as much. Maybe.
Lord, I hope this show keeps growing, I have noticed that the sound output is much better this year than last, and a little difference in the format as for the end of tourney interviews or whatever. I would like to see this show go to a 1 hour episode as I'm sure more would too. But we all know more time equals more money, but the number of viewers would be there.
