Thinking about fishing Taylorsville this weekend, if the weather permits. Haven't been there for about 5 months. One of my buddy's said that the water color looks like the lake may have turned over. Anyone had any luck on bass.

Only bad luck, lol. I was there Wednesday. I fished the lower section, Settlers area and near the dam. The water was off color and surface temp in the low 60's. I fished mainly for crappie, but had no luck. I did fish for bass a little again with no luck. The few guys I talked to that were bassin' said they hadn't done any good either. I usually fish the other end of the lake where I generally do much better. I fished it Saturday and did manage to bring home some keepers (crappie). The water at that time was more off-color as compared to the water around Settlers. I can't say what it looks like now since I didn't run down that way on Wednesday. I didn't see much fish activity on Wednesday but I did see a lot of gizzard shad swimming about. They are getting pretty good size now.
I fished Taylorsville Friday. The water temp was in the upper 50s and the wind was howloing. I caught a few nice fish about halfway back in the creeks on a spinnerbait, a couple small ones on a crankbait. iI wanted to throew a jig but the wind was blowing so hard it was too dificult to control the boat well enough for that. Good luck!
