Free Coon Dog
I know this isn't the board for this but a very nice (young) coon dog had decided to take up residence at my house. This dog has been taken care of (dog is in good shape & it had a collar w/o name tag). My suspicion is that it was dropped due to the fact that my neighbor had a Jack Russell show up at the same time. The dog is very well behaved. Please e-mail me at
thanks,

RE: Free Coon Dog
If I thought he could find fish and flip a tube, I could use him as a partner for next year. LOL

RE: Free Coon Dog
To anyone thinking about adopting this coonhound, they make wonderful additions to the family!! My wife and I took in a coonhound puppy two years ago and he has become the most wonderful pet. Coonhounds typically become just "one of the family" and they're great with children.
I highly recommend a coonhound as an addition to any family. I would take him, but we have our limit with two dogs. Please think about taking this one home...he'll love you for it.

I may be interested, let me check with the wife (as usual) Is the dog full grown yet??

RE: Free Coon Dog
The dog is full grown, but still very young (maybe 1.5 yrs old). The problem now is that he's decided to pull up stakes and leave. I will let you know if he comes back.
thanks,
