Will be at lake cumberland the weekend of nov. 18,19,20th. I was just wandering if fishing for smallies and spots at night would be worth a try. I would think it could be pretty good if the weather isn't too bad, but I only fish the big C once a year. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I went down last night and put in J-town. Got there around 700 pm and fished towards the dam until 130 am. Hit alot of main lake points and bluff walls with big water around. Caught alot of short KY's and one smallie that went 4.7 lbs. at midnight. Stripers started about 730 pm. More than usual to me. They never quit, but few and far between. Water temp. was 64 when I got there and 61.8 when I left. The bite was relatively slow, or at least where I was. Hope this helps.
Were the stripers coming up at night? Did you catch any of them or did you just here the coming up. What did you catch your fish on? just checking because i am going down next weekend.

Thanks for the info, I'll be staying at Grider hill. I think I'll give the night bite a try.
