Look for flats near where the channel bends/breaks or find flats with deep water nearby and burn rattle traps. Its best if you can find flats with the wind blowing on them. spinner baits and shadraps are also good this time of year in the same places.
try chrome and blue crankbaits
10-4 on the shadraps this time of year especially the jointed ones
